Exodus 31:16-18

16 So the sons of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to [a]celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.’ 17 (A)It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; (B)for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.”

18 When He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses (C)the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, (D)written by the finger of God.
